Tina's Recipe Corner
A list of recipes that I have enjoyed very much over the years with my children. Some recipes will be ones that have been handed down from my mother and my grandmother.
Welcome to Tina's Recipe Corner
The reason I started this blog was simply to share recipes with others online.
Over the years I have come across some delicious recipes that were so nice that I just
wanted to share them with everyone.
I have passed a lot of them onto my children and they are making them still to this day.
You can do the same here at Tina's Recipe Corner.
If you come across a really nice recipe that really impressed you please feel free to share on my blog.
I will be adding 1 new recipe every week.
Thanks and happy cooking!

Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. We had a lovely time with all the family and also my newest Grandchild Dusty. Born on Nov. 10th 2011. Another little red head for the family. That's 3 now. I will be posting another recipe or two in the next couple of days. Sorry I haven't posted any for a while but work and family has been keeping me very busy. I'm sure you all understand. Anyway, have a lovely day. See you soon.

Well hello there,
I have had my recipe blog going for a while now although I haven't posted a lot due to the business of life itself, but I would like to know if any of you have tried any of my recipes. I highly recommend that you do as they are scrummy. Especially my Apple Crumble. I also recommend you try the Tuna Casserole and the Chow Mein. In fact have a go at all of them. They really are yummy. My recent addition is the Chicken Vegetable Pie. You could also add a couple of tspns of curry to make it Curry Chicken Pie. Delicious. In the near future I will begin to introduce you to my family. I will be adding photos of not only my children but my grandchildren as well, who are still enjoying all the recipes that I am putting on my blog. Most of the recipes I got from my mother, who got them from her mother. I have also passed them onto my children and they are still to this day cooking them for their own children. I love the fact that these recipes are still going strong in my family. I hope one day when my grandchildren are grown and having children of their own that they too will be cooking these same recipes for their own children. Please try them out and let me know what you think. Cheers for now. Tina.

PUMPKIN
SOUP
Ingredients:
750g
pumpkin
2 med.
potatoes
1 med.
onion
2 chicken
stock cubes
100ml
Carnation evaporated milk
1lt.
water
Method:
Place
pumpkin, potatoe and onion in large pot. Bring to boil, then simmer until
tender. Add chicken stock cubes and simmer a further 10 mins. Blend well then
add evaporated milk.
There are
lots of variations to pumkin soup, this is just a basic one. You can add
whatever
else you
wish to. I like to add about a heaped tsp. of curry to give it a tad spice and
also
I like to
caramelize the onions as well. Cream is also a good substitute for evaporated
milk.
